Cost: The total tour cost per person is:
US$4,800 (double occupancy)
US$5,400 (single occupancy)
The Tour will begin and end at a hotel at/near the Munich International Airport (MUC) in Munich, Germany. Flights to Munich are not included with the tour.
Tour includes:
Deluxe motorcoach travel 29 May 2023 through 9 June 2023; train travel from Gießen to Lübeck and from Lübeck to Munich; 13 hotel nights in Germany; daily breakfast following each hotel night, museum admittance fees as described on the itinerary; and tour guides. The part of the itinerary of each tour that includes the Volga German ancestral villages will be determined by the ancestral villages which each participant wants to visit. The Tour will also visit Büdingen, Hamburg, Lübeck, Munich, Füssen, and areas of Schleswig-Holstein.
Payment: Payment of a US$400 deposit is due with each Tour Application Form. For those whose application is accepted, payment in full is due on or before 17 February 2023 at 18:00 Eastern Time. Tour Application Forms received after 17 February 2023 must include payment in full. Payment indicates understanding and acceptance of all terms and conditions as outlined in the General Conditions document found with the Tour Application Form. Payments will not be processed until the Tour Application has been accepted and the applicant notified.
Deadline: The Tour Application Form and full payment must be received by Volga German Tours on or before 17 February 2023. Applications and payment may be accepted after 17 February 2023 at the discretion of Volga German Tours.
Payment Method: Payment must be in US dollars. In order to keep costs down, payment by personal check or money order is preferred. If you want to pay by credit card, contact Dr. Mai (brentmai@volgagermantours.com) for additional information about paying by credit card.
Policy for Cancellation by Volga German Tours: Should the tour fail to have a minimum number of 20 applications received and accepted by 17 February 2023, Volga German Tours reserves the right to cancel that tour and all payments received by that date will be refunded to the applicant. If the tour is cancelled, Volga German Tours will not be responsible for refunds of fees incurred by the applicant for passports, visas, or invitations.
Policy for Cancellation by Participant: Each tour participant whose Tour Application Form has been accepted but who desires to cancel (for any reason) must provide a written cancellation statement to Brent Mai. The pro-rated refund schedule for cancellation in writing is as follows:

*received by 17 February 2023: 75% refund ($3,600 double; $4,050 single).
*received by 1 March 2023: 50% refund ($2,400 double; $2,700 single).
*received by 15 March 2023: 25% refund ($1,200 double; $1,350 single).
*received on or after 1 April 2023: zero refund.
This tour is being planned with a very short planning window and hotels, ground transportation, etc. have already been reserved and paid for shortly after the 17 February 2023 application deadline. No refunds will be given for any unused services while on tour. The purchase, at participant expense, of private cancellation insurance which covers cancellation due to illness, injury, etc. is recommended.
Tour Price Does Not Include: passport & visa fees, phone calls, valet/laundry service, alcohol of any kind, baggage fees, travel insurance, or medical insurance.
Supplemental Price Increases: The air-inclusive tour being purchased is subject to supplemental price increases that may be imposed after the date of purchase. Post-purchase price increases may be applied due to additional costs imposed by a supplier or government. Tour participants may be charged additional sums by Volga German Tours to offset increased fees, taxes, airline-imposed international surcharges, fluctuations in foreign exchange markets or any combination thereof along with any other items as outlined in the General Conditions. Tour participants will be billed for such additional amounts.
