Volga German Tours will be offering a tour to Germany in 2027 and tours to Germany & Argentina in 2028.
Germany 2027
May 15 – 29, 2027: Tour to the ancestral villages of the Volga Germans in Germany along with time in Munich, Heidelberg, Rothenburg (ob der Tauber), Büdingen, and Lübeck.
The detail of each day that involves visiting the ancestral villages of those who settled in the German colonies along the Russian Volga River in the 1760s will be scheduled after all participants have been accepted. We will incorporate those villages that participants have requested on their Tour Application Form and create an itinerary.

Since the tour to Germany is very customized to visit the ancestral villages of those who are on that particular tour, each one looks different. Sample final Itineraries from the 2023, 2024, and 2025 Tours are listed below.
Argentina 2028
Jan. 12 – 26, 2028: Tour to the Volga German colonies in the Argentine Provinces of Entre Ríos and Buenos Aires along with time in Buenos Aires City, Mendoza’s wine country, and the mountainous lakes in the Andes near Bariloche (in Patagonia).
There will be “family reunions” held in the two primary Volga German settlement areas in Entre Ríos and Buenos Aires Provinces as well as in Buenos Aires City. Local Volga German descendants will be invited to meet with our tour participants during these “family reunion” times.
